The Pearl Magazine
We had the pleasure of working with Jen Gillette on the last two editions of The Pearl Magazine, which is the official publication of the Pearl District Business Association.
It’s a non-profit organization with the mission to promote the Pearl District as the region’s premier destination for shopping, dining, art and living.
For this latest shoot, photographed by Derrin Battles, Jen’s goal was to bring a lot of light and color to the products, and really make the cover catch the viewers eye while they’re out in the world.
All of the products in the gift guides are from stores in the Pearl District. You can pick up the magazine at Powell’s, various stores, and hotels all around the Pearl District.
Jeremy Dunham was the photographer for the Healthy, Wealthy & Wise edition. Jen chose different backgrounds to evoke the feeling of each section – the outdoors, spa, luxury, and a desk.
