Derrin Battles undeniable passion for underwater photography began at the Brooks Institute. The Brooks Institute was known for their underwater imaging courses.
Derrin has been a trailblazer in the commercial photography industry for the last 22 years. His interest in photographing people and especially underwater had an opportunity to present itself in a ridiculously creative way with our Pair of Thieves client.
It happened to be a cold November day in an outdoor swimming pool with a big acorn tree right above us – oh yeah, and sideways rain. It wouldn’t be fun if we didn’t challenge ourselves.
