Featured Project – Ice Cream Quenelle – Studio Project
Ice Cream
With the New Year we’ve been talking about more ways to spend time building our portfolio in more intentional ways. Both as a collective as well as individuals.

One way we thought we could achieve this was to use same subject matter but let the photographers run with the creative however they wanted to.

Michael Shay’s approach was to work in natural light to highlight the food since that is his specialty.

Jeremy Dunham chose a more graphic and conceptual approach for his shots with chocolate pouring out of a broken ice cream heart.

Stephen Thaxton has been working on a floating food personal project for some time. This was just one of his samples where all the parts of a particular food item levitate in the frame.

All together they represent the depth and creativity of Polara Studio. In this next year we are looking to explore more in this direction.
