Bounty of Oregon
Creativity is a muscle and if you don’t exercise it it will atrophy. In the photography industry we often spend time improving our skill set by testing when we are not shooting with clients.
I’ve continued to test throughout my career and still really enjoy it. I came up with a series called “Bounty of Oregon” where we use seasonal, local ingredients, raw and then cooked in a recipe that highlights the best of Portland, Oregon foods.
I worked with Alex Bourgidu who is an amazing chef also interested in food styling. I hope you enjoy this series as much as we did when we were making them. – Michael Shay
