We are thrilled to announce The Bartender’s Pantry by Jim Meehan, Bart Sasso, AJ Meeker and Emma Janzen—published by Ten Speed Press—has just been awarded the 2025 James Beard Foundation Award
in the Beverage with Recipes Category.
Polara Studio’s, AJ Meeker, photographed all of the cocktails for the book entirely on film.
This is the second Jame Beard Award-winning book AJ has photographed, a testament to his craft and dedication.
Shooting on film posed unique creative challenges, and AJ’s precision and vision brought every recipe to life, beautifully capturing the artistry and culture behind each cocktail.
