• Do you shoot motion as well as still photography?

    Yes we have many years of experience shooting both motion and stills. We have in-house video editing and digital artists / retouching as well.

  • Do you do small shoots?

    Yes, we do shoots both large and small. We love working with entrepreneurs.

  • Do you cast models?

    Yes, we have great working relationships with all of the talent agencies and a lot of experience in street casting.

  • Do you do location scouting?

    Yes, we have in house location scouting and can solve all of the associated location challenges such as securing permits, accommodations and travel.

  • Who do you work with?

    We work with advertising agencies, designers, in-house marketing departments and retailers of every kind who need visual help selling their product.

    Polara Studio has been in business for over 25 years and it’s principle photographers have over 100 years of combined expertise. Though photography is a profession of creative individuals, Polara Studio exists because we believe our strong collaborative team benefits our clients.

  • What sets you apart from other photographers?

    The vast experience and knowledge base of the crew at Polara in every aspect of photography, videography and production is a unique resource available to our clients. Each of the photographers at Polara has a specific set of skills that produce jobs in different specialized areas of product, food and people photography.

  • What services do you offer?

    Polara Studio offers still photography, videography and digital art/post-production. Polara has photographers and videographers that specialize in food & beverage, sportswear & lifestyle, product photography both in and outside of the studio. Polara also has in-house production services including casting, scouting, permitting, set building, model making and retouching.

  • Do you have a specific process?

    Generally we receive an email or call to discuss the kind and scope of the project. At that point, we discuss the best way to get the project done and prepare an estimate for the time and costs involved. New clients are typically required to provide a deposit prior to booking. Once booked, the client is welcome to be a part of the process either remotely or with an onsite presence. (Due to Covid19 Polara has certain safety procedures in place.)

  • How do I get started?

    It’s simple! Just call or shoot us an email. We’ll get back to you at your convenience and discuss the kind and scope of your project.

  • When can we start?

    Once the estimate is approved it’s based on the clients timelines. We usually can fit the needs of our clients into the proper time frame.

  • How long does this take?

    The timeline of the photography or videography process is determined through the estimating process. Generally we like 3-5 business days post shoot to deliver final files. We can expedite delivery as needed.

  • Do you have regular office hours?

    Polara Studio is generally open 9-5 M-F. Email support is generally available all of the time though we do sleep sometimes.

  • What type of payment do you accept and do you offer a payment plan?

    We accept checks, ACH transfers, paypal and credits cards (3.5% fee for credit card payments)

    New clients are generally required to pay 50% up front prior to booking and net 30 on the balance. Our terms are such that rights and imaging rights do not get transferred until the job is paid in full.

  • Is it confidential?

    We have signed multiple confidentiality agreements with multiple clients. That is not required by Polara Studio. Polara would not have been in business for 25 years if we had discussed one client’s business with another.
